Bright idea: Time to Light Up the Keys

Dust off your favorite holiday decorations, because it’s time for the Longboat Observer’s annual “Light Up the Keys” competition. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Observer staff members will be on the hunt for the most festively decorated condominiums, single-family homes and businesses on Longboat, Lido, Bird and St. Armands keys. The judging this year will be structured differently than in the past. In the Thursday, Dec. 15 issue of the Longboat Observer, we will reveal the top winners in each category: condominiums with more than 100 units, condominiums with less than 100 units, single-family homes, commercial category and Publisher’s Choice. We’ll also include our “bright spots” list — our runners-up that are also not-to-be missed. Happy holidays!
