Longboat Key Vice Mayor David Brenner has qualified to run for a second term representing District 3 on the Town Commission in the March 2012 election.
Brenner was elected to the commission in March 2010, after defeating incumbent Commissioner Peter O’Connor. Brenner was the only candidate who has filed papers for the upcoming election as of Monday morning, according to the Town Clerk’s office.
