Bob Twigg memorial celebration

A memorial celebration for Robert “Bob” Twigg, of Longboat Key and Leesburg, Va., who died Nov. 16, 2009, will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, in the outdoor pavilion at the Longboat Key Public Tennis Center, 590 Bay Isles Road. A reception will follow. Bring a chair for your own comfort. In case of inclement weather, the celebration will take place at All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church, 563 Bay Isles Road. Twigg was a veteran journalist and the husband of Longboat Key Planning and Zoning Board Chairwoman B.J. Webb.
