Boards pass budget amendments

Lakewood Ranch Community Development District supervisors today passed more than $120,000 in budget amendments to the 2012 Fiscal Year budget, but the changes will yield no assessments for residents.

The Inter-Distrit Authority Board, which oversees common business for CDDs 1, 2, 4 and 5, approved about $110,000 in amendments to cover costs for a new IDA maintenance facility, and costs associated with an irrigation study.

CDD 2 supervisors approved $20,900 in amendments, moving monies from its road reserve fund, to cover unexpected repairs to storm inlets in the district.
