Bird Key home sells for $5.7 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Elita Krums Kane, of Sarasota, sold the home at 614 S. Owl Drive to Christopher Connor, trustee, of Hunting Valley, Ohio, for $5.7 million. Built in 1965, it has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,870 square feet of living area. It sold for $4 million in 2000.

Tencon Beach

GMD LLC sold the Unit 202 condominium at 1511 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Edward Michael and Rachel Hayman, of Evanston, Illinois, for $2.9 million. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,940 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.1 million in 2020.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Scott and Rosemarie Salick, trustees, of Delafield, Wisconsin, sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Anthony Bottalla, trustee, of Chicago, for $2,399,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,172 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.5 million in 2018.

Country Club Shores

Josef and Helen Visinski sold their home at 572 Yawl Lane to Marissa Corney, of Longboat Key, for $2.3 million. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,650 square feet of living area. It sold for $559,400 in 2017.

Alligator 42 LLC sold the home at 561 Halyard Lane to Thomas McCollum and Kaltrina Mavraj, of St. Johns, for $1.34 million. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,997 square feet of living area. It sold for $960,000 in 2004.

Beachplace

Joseph William Plaster Jr. and Donna Fulcher Plaster, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 306 condominium at 1055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kenneth Emerson Stanley and Ann Marie Stanley, for Lima, Ohio, for $2.19 million. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,819 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.2 million in 2018.

Islander Club of Longboat

Lucia Dacosta Pessoa Park and Jeffrey Park, trustees, sold the Units 115N and 116N condominiums at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jayne Cook, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $2 million. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,470 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.15 million in 2013.

Stephen and Maria Lazar, of Hockessin Delaware, sold their Unit 82-N condominium at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Vladimir and Ida Fiks, of Portland, Oregon, for $1.01 million. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It sold for $255,000 in 1997.

Bird Key

Mark Nowak, trustee, sold the home at 534 Bird Key Drive to Richard Ollis Galberaith and Barbarajean Galberaith, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1.8 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,793 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,262,500 in 2017.

Tiffany Plaza

Kathryn Graham and Gary Gray, of Somers, New York, sold their Unit 603 condominium at 4325 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Irving and Karen Dennis, of New Albany, Ohio, for $1,525,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,672 square feet of living area.

John Clark Creager Smith and Joan Marie Smith, trustees, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, sold the Unit 102 condominium at 4325 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kimberly Williams, trustee, of Norfolk, Massachusetts, for $845,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It sold for $648,500 in 2016.

Donald Tholl, trustee, and Geneva Tholl, of Bradenton, sold the Unit 107 condominium at 4325 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Paula Anderson, trustee, and Joseph Anderson, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, for $775,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,336 square feet of living area. It sold for $520,000 in 2015.

John Ringling Estates

Maureen and Roger Simpson sold their home at 437 Cleveland Drive to William and Anna Rose, of Ho Ho Kus, New Jersey, for $1.45 million. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,774 square feet of living area. It sold for $54,000 in 1978.

The Players Club

Ilana Libman Elsworth, of Chicago, and Jared Libman, of Longboat Key, trustees, sold the Unit 103 condominium at 1465 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter Wolfson Zinober and Cynthia Gandee Zinober, of Tampa, for $1,318,800. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,793 square feet of living area. It sold for $237,000 in 1983.

Dream Island

Timothy Christensen sold the home at 651 Emerald Harbor Drive to D.G. Island Properties LLC for $1.25 million. Built in 1983, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,860 square feet of living area.

Sands Point

Robert and Suzanne Goodman sold their Unit 211 condominium at 100 Sands Point Road to Mario Conte, of Longboat Key, for $1.1 million. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,941 square feet of living area. It sold for $87,200 in 1977.

Longboat Sandpipers

Carol Cloud, trustee, of Bargersville, Indiana, sold the Unit 204 condominium at 5635 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jennifer Ewing, Marc Bloostein and Arthur Segal, trustees, of Brookline, Massachusetts, for $950,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,786 square feet of living area. It sold for $900,000 in 2005.

Bay Isles

Jeffrey Heck and Lydia Heck, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3261 Bayou Way to Anthony Douglas and Irina Zaremba, of Longboat Key, for $935,000. Built in 1980, it has four bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,523 square feet of living area. It sold for $590,000 in 2020.

Covert

Patricia Kordis, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit B-201 condominium at 5210 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ryan Chaplo, of Long Valley, New Jersey, for $735,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,914 square feet of living area. It sold for $550,000 in 2004.

David Ayres and Kim Kotchick-Ayres, of Binghamton, New York, sold their Unit 308 condominium at 5231 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ondrea Francy, trustee, of Cincinnati, for $560,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 990 square feet of living area. It sold for $250,000 in 2001.

Lido Harbour South

Debra Bewick Smith and Keary Allen Bewick, trustees, of Valparaiso, Indiana, sold the Unit 307 condominium at 2110 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Franklin Sarasota LLC for $690,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It sold for $38,000 in 1969.

Villa Casuarina

Stephen Karl Herzer and Ina Rae Herzer sold their Unit 3 condominium at 5321 Gulf of Mexico Drive to LOKI LLC for $663,300. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, one bath and 1,196 square feet of living area. It sold for $130,000 in 1989.

Lido Surf and Sand

Joseph and Laura Kroon, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 814 condominium at 1102 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Debbie Benner, of Fairfield, Connecticut, for $661,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,213 square feet of living area. It sold for $478,800 in 2016.

Key Towers South

Richard Poulsen, of Henderson Harbor, New York, sold his Unit 8-G condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Hassan and Ebitsam Jaber, of Sarasota, for $630,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,403 square feet of living area. It sold for $340,000 in 2012.

Islands West

Klara Szilagyi, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 9-B condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Douglas and Tracy Grattan, of Chatham, Massachusetts, for $585,000. Built in 1972, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,124 square feet of living area. It sold for $490,000 in 2018.

Longboat Harbour Towers

Mary Dawn Seymour and Jerome Plant sold their Unit 703 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Charles and Andrea Anderson, of Bradenton, for $525,000. Built in 1972, it has one bedroom, one bath and 725 square feet of living area. It sold for $411,000 in 2019.

Buttonwood Cove

Rima Macksoud and Wadih Macksoud, trustees, of Winter Park, sold the Unit 102C condominium at 3540 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mark and Miriam Stellini, of Lewes, Delaware, for $480,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,284 square feet of living area. It sold for $344,000 in 2002.

Silver Sands

Gulfshore Affordable Rentals LLC sold the Unit 243 condominium at 5841 Gulf of Mexico Drive to YKRE LLC for $435,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 760 square feet of living area. It sold for $390,000 in 2017.

Spanish Main Yacht Club

Kathy Kotovsky, of Longboat Key, sold her home at 668 Spanish Drive N. to Thomas and Deborah Cooney, of Longboat Key, for $355,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,393 square feet of living area. It sold for $256,000 in 2016.

Longboat Beachcomber

MG Real Estate Investment LLC sold the Unit 305 condominium at 2721 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Miron Groyzburg, of Longboat Key, for $350,000. Built in 1970, it has one bedroom, one bath and 675 square feet of living area. It sold for $285,000 in 2017.

Whitney Beach

Stephen Ierulli, trustee, and William Lloyd, of Bradenton, sold the Unit 185 condominium at 6800 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Christina Psicharis, of Port Charlotte, for $315,000. Built in 1970, it has one bedroom, one bath and 936 square feet of living area. It sold for $365,000 in 2005.

St. Judes Apartments

Gregory and Caroline Winsper, of Bradenton Beach, sold their Unit 7 condominium at 707 Saint Judes Drive S. to Torin Lacher and Blake Lacher, of Breckenridge, Colorado, for $300,000. Built in 1966, it has one bedroom, one bath and 630 square feet of living area. It sold for $91,500 in 2011.

Hal Christensen, of Bradenton, sold his Unit 18 condominium at 729 Saint Judes Drive S. to Giovanni Migliorini, of Sarasota, for $290,000. Built in 1966, it has one bedroom, one bath and 840 square feet of living area. It sold for $165,000 in 2012.
