Bird Key home sells for $4.34 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between May 30 and June 3.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Thomas and Karin Buffett, of Sarasota, sold their home at 683 Mourning Dove Drive to Teresa Franklin, trustee, of Sarasota, for $4.34 million. Built in 1996, it has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,750 square feet of living area.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
Risque Investments Ltd. sold the Unit C-604 condominium at 415 L’Ambiance Drive to Alain and Helene LeBleu, of Greenwich, Conn., for $1.9 million. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,634 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $705,000 in 1993.

Grand Bay
Rifka Glatz, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 196 condominium at 3060 Grand Bay Blvd. to Thomas and Karin Buffett, of Longboat Key, for $1.45 million. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,781 square feet of living area.

Beachplace
Joseph Barbera, of Longboat Key, sold his Unit 501 condominium at 1125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to William and Mary Brown, of Southampton, N.Y., for $810,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 1987.

Sunset Beach on Longboat Key
James and Vyera Dillon, of Hartford, Conn., sold their Unit 2102 condominium at 2101 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Terry and Barbara Shockey, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, for $650,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,463 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $625,000 in 2013.

Country Club Shores
Nancy Woodley, of Venice, sold her home at 1080 Bogey Lane to Louis and Pamela Irmisch, of Williamsville, N.Y., for $558,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,923 square feet of living area.

Longboat Landing
David Satnick and Monique Palladino-Satnick, of New York City, sold their Unit 104 condominium at 5320 Gulf of Mexico Drive to William Hawkins and Maria Rossi-Hawkins, of New York City, for $475,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $406,000 in 2009.

Longbeach Village
Jay Grinnell, of Harmony, Pa., sold the home at 7149 Longboat Drive N. to Mauro and Laura Harto, of Longboat Key, for $460,000. Built in 1967, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,366 square feet of living area.

Companion Way
U.S. Bank Trust, trustee, sold the home at 652 Companion Way to Jennifer Lewis, of Loveland, Ohio, for $370,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,232 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 2001.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Ronald and Marvelle Cole, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 185 condominium at 675 El Centro to Nancy Smith, of N. Falmouth, Mass., for $319,500. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,193 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $83,000 in 1995.

Federal National Mortgage Association sold the home at 727 Spanish Drive S. to John and Cecile Coutret, of Shreveport, La., for $230,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,353 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2015.

Beach Harbor Club
Nancy Maxwell, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit C-304 condominium at 3806 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ernest and Cynthia Withers, of Longboat Key, for $240,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,046 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $210,000 in 2011.

Orchid Beach Club Residences
The Maurjon General Partnership sold the Unit W302 condominium at 2052 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Arthur and Betsy Holden, of Winnetka, Ill., for $2.65 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,654 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.25 million in 2008.

Lido Shores
350 Polk Drive LLC sold the Unit 301 condominium at 350 S. Polk Drive to Robert and Ann Ryan, of Cresskill, N.J., for $400,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,036 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2012.

The Presidential
Vinton and Dianne Trefz, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 308 condominium at 845 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Katherine Kussy, of Westbrook, Conn., for $343,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2015.

St. Armands Towers North
Jerald and Patricia Ziegler sold their Unit 115 condominium at 1 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Douglas Parks, of Sarasota, for $645,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,389 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $525,000 in 2002.
