Bird Key home sells for $1.63 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Dec. 29 and Jan. 2.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Arlette Jacob, trustee, and Stanley Jacob, of Sarasota, sold the home at 212 Bird Key Drive to Thomas and Suzanne Hall, of Sarasota, for $1.63 million. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,016 square feet of living area.

Country Club Shores
Sheldon and Joyce Paley, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 512 Hornblower Lane to Paul Galeski, trustee, of Columbia, Ill., for $940,000. Built in 1968, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,109 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 1993.

Harbour Court
Lois Miller, trustee, of St. Louis, sold the home at 2204 Harbour Court Drive to Anna McCann, of Longboat Key, for $850,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,933 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $535,000 in 1996.

Conrad Beach
The Bank of New York, Mellon, trustee, sold the home at 7050 Firehouse Road to Muhamed Becovic, of Indianapolis, Ind., for $760,000. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three baths, one half-bath and 3,095 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $760,000 in 2014.

Lands End
Dorian and Janice Irizarry, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 3 condominium at 690 Lands End Drive to Michael Parker and Connie Claudette Parker, trustees, of The Villages, for $749,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,803 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2009.

The Ambassador on Lido Beach
Bonnie Christie, of Jackson, Mich., sold her Unit 708 condominium at 800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Anand and Vasundhara Putcha, of Livingston, N.J., for $725,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,350 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $198,000 in 1996.

Whitney Beach
Jerome and Sharon Glassman, of Ocala, sold their Unit 317 condominium at 6701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Virginia Lipton and Frank Malickson, of Longboat Key, for $402,500. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 936 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2004.

Donald and Barbara Ramp, trustees, of Frisco, Texas, sold the Unit 148 condominium at 6750 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Curt and Pia Ravn, of Longboat Key, for $320,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,287 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $107,500 in 1984.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
First Source Bank, trustee, sold the Unit 47 condominium at 877 Spanish Drive N. to Michelle Clark, of Greenwich, Conn., for $330,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,198 square feet of living area.

Sutton Place
Harry and Ann Ardoline, of Bethlehem, Pa., sold their Unit 305 condominium at 600 Sutton Place to Mary Ardoline, of Bethlehem, Pa., for $216,200. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,204 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $145,000 in 1992.

St. Armands
Sarasota Harbour East

Lorna Maclaren, of Ontario, Canada, sold her Unit 36 condominium at 769 John Ringling Blvd. to Carlos Silva, of Forest Hills, N.Y., for $312,500. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 882 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2011.
