Beth Callans Management closes temporarily

Beth Callans Management has closed at least temporarily, according to board members from three separate communities managed by the company, some of whom spoke to the Longboat Observer on the condition of anonymity.

A sign posted at the entrance of the company’s office Friday evening read:

“There are NO BCMT payroll checks today.”

Attempts to reach Callans were not immediately successful.

The company’s website, bethcallansmgmt.com, lists nearly 80 properties in the company’s portfolio, roughly half of which are located on Longboat Key.
