Bay Island home sells for $5.1 million

A home in Bay Island tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Mark and Donna Salzberg sold their home at 901 Norsota Way to Jack and Deborah Hawn, of Sarasota, for $5.1 million. Built in 2001, it has six bedrooms, seven baths, a pool and 6,438 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.12 million in 2001.

Michael and Amalia Rosin and Andrew Rosin, trustee, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 2925 Bay Shore Road to J. Richard and Cornelia Matson, of Sarasota, for $1.9 million. The first, built in 1948, has four bedrooms, four baths and 3,188 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1942, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,062 square feet of living area.
