It turns out the Aug. 18 robbery of a 7-Eleven on Clark Road included a family reunion.

Sarasota County deputies arrested Constance Carol Newbeck, 42, for using a firearm to demand cash and three cartons of cigarettes from her ex-sister-in-law, who was working the register that morning, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. Newbeck had called the clerk to apologize for the robbery soon after.

Newbeck, a Bradenton resident, is being held without bond.
