Suspects steal truck from Sarasota Ford

In less than five minutes, two suspected car thieves loaded a four-and-a-half ton pickup truck onto a flatbed and fled the Sarasota Ford dealership Jan. 30, according to surveillance video released by the Sarasota Police Department today.

Authorities are currently asking for help in identifying the individuals shown stealing a $76,000 Ford F-450 from the dealership at 707 S. Washington Blvd. The suspects used Payne Parkway, which runs behind the business, to navigate a white, flatbed truck into the lot, before leaving with the stolen vehicle.
