It was a beautiful and breezy Saturday evening, and I found myself in the supremely posh and sublimely stunning Sarasota Opera House to attend not one, but two events in this stunningly gorgeous venue (lucky girl!).

Now, if you have yet to hear of Culture Collective, please allow me a brief moment to enlighten you: Sarasota Culture Collective makes it affordable and accessible for young people to experience the arts in Sarasota. This particular Saturday, the Culture Collective’s artistic adventure played host to the ever-chic Sarasota Ballet. Before all the Pretty Young Things (PYTs, for future reference) had the chance to gaze at exquisite dancers in a mesmerizing performance, they indulged in a little pre-show mixer, a small fete made up of lovely hors d’oevres, cheeky cocktails, flirtatious mingling and the opportunity to further one’s ballet education (with a fabulous talk-back with Sarasota Ballet Artistic Director and the always stylish, Iain Webb).  It was a truly memorable evening, and I encourage all the Sarasota PYT’s to join the Culture Collective, for nothing is sexier then being cultured.
