Date: December 17, 2009
by: Pam Eubanks | News Editor
Realtor Liaison Gail Shane was forced into the spotlight this week for her contributions to the community and local Realtor groups in 2009.
The Manatee Women’s Council of Realtors awarded Shane the “Honor Circle Award,” which recognizes support for the local chapter, participation in local board activities and community service. The Sarasota chapter named Shane “Humanitarian of the Year.”
Shane, who works for Neal Communities, was recognized last year by both organizations for her efforts as well. Shane has been a key player in raising funds and awareness of the My Community Makeover Project, an effort to help families who cannot afford necessary home improvements, and is involved in real estate-related professional organizations.
