Sarasota - Condominium in Casarina sells for $1.59 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Nov. 12 and Nov. 16.
A condominium in Casarina tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Evert and Evy Gustafsson, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 601 condominium at 5880 Midnight Pass Road to Wilbur and Sarah Bontrager, of Middlebury, Ind., for $1.59 million. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,542 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 1988.
Horizons West
Jill Blettner, of Middleton, Wis., sold her Unit 805 condominium at 6140 Midnight Pass Road to Howard and Marsha Miller, of Uniontown, Ohio, for $750,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,658 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 1994.
Sarasota Beach
Edward and Kathleen Hutchinson sold their home at 5440 Avenida Del Mare to Diana Radek, trustee, of Naperville, Ill., for $745,000. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,705 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $825,000 in 2004.
Lawrence Dick sold his home at 666 Calle De Peru to Michael and Anne Harris, of Chaumont, N.Y., for $244,500. Built in 1958, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 864 square feet of living area.
Sea Village
Red Sands LLC sold the Unit A-1 condominium at 4660 Ocean Blvd. to Mindy Clarke, of Miami, for $610,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,645 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,500 in 2011.
Village West
Simon Holt, of Richmond, England, sold his Unit 109 condominium at 5252 Avenida Navarra to David and Sandia Wasserman, of Tampa, for $465,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,640 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $465,000 in 2002.
Fisherman’s Cove
William and Janet Schlegel sold their Unit A-309 condominium at 8900 Blind Pass Road to Siesta LLC for $355,300. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 969 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $128,000 in 1986.
Sunrise Cove
Inez Harris, trustee, sold the Unit 305 condominium at 8897 Midnight Pass Road to Richard Stevenson, of Bronxville, N.Y., for $320,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $137,000 in 1988.
Siesta Beach House
David and Patricia Francis, trustees, sold the Unit 317 condominium at 5950 Midnight Pass Road to Sea Shell 404 LLC for $305,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 988 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $138,000 in 1992.
James and Susan Weaver sold their Unit 306 condominium at 5950 Midnight Pass Road to SBH 306 LLC for $285,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 988 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $51,500 in 1996.

The Northern Trust Co. and Gordon Holmes, trustees, of Naples sold the home at 3332 Gulfmead Drive to Sam Norton, trustee, of Sarasota, for $3.6 million. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,169 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,320,000 in 2005.
