Sarasota - Siesta Key home sells for $1 million

A home in Mira Mar Beach tops all real-estate transactions for the week of Oct. 28 to Nov. 5.

Robasota Real Estate Ltd. sold the home at 62 Avenida Veneccia to Stuart Johnson, of Lake Dallas, Texas, for $1 million. Built in 1925, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,759 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.4 million in 2005.

SIESTA KEY
Sarasota Beach

Jack Lefrock, of Sarasota, sold his home at 164 Island Circle to Azmi and Isabel Kabbani, of Sarasota, for $920,000. Built in 2007, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,083 square feet of living area.

Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club
Louise Short, of Waverly, sold her Unit 1006 condominium at 5920 Midnight Pass Road to Andrew and Theresa Lucibello, of Wallingford, Conn., for $540,000. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,352 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $645,000 in 2004.

Siesta Manor
James and Melba Talbot, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5015 Calle Minorga to Sherif Abushadi, of Sarasota, for $450,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,693 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2001.

Island Reef
David and Tatiana Staats, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 502-H condominium at 8779 Midnight Pass Road to Darryl and Gertrud DeMille, of Ontario, for $390,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $268,000 in 2000.

Peppertree Bay
James and Sharon Cirillo, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 303 condominium at 1200 E. Peppertree Lane to Mark and Julie Pacana, of Algonquin, Ill., for $365,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2004.

Craig Harvey and Darlene Wood-Harvey, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 409 condominium at 8911 Midnight Pass Road to Samuel and Shanai Hill, of Estero, for $350,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $495,000 in 2005.

Harbor Acres

R. Brian and Amy Stoy, of Washtenaw, Mich., sold their home at 1402 S. Orange Ave. to Michael and Marilyn Sullivan, of Port Hueneme, Calif., for $525,000. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,505 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2007.

Marquee En Ville
Renee Hamad, joined by Enterprise Associates of Sarasota LLC, sold the Unit 115-C condominium at 235 Cocoanut Ave. to Brian Katz, of Sarasota, for $325,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,290 square feet of living area.

Phillippi Landings
William and Rebecca Hardwick sold their Unit 203 condominium at 5591 Cannes Circle to James and Carol Raffini, of Sarasota, for $300,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,706 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $454,800 in 2006.

Landings South III
Andrejs Jurjans and Bonnie Cummings, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 203 condominium at 5261 Heron Way to William and Debra McGaffin, of Sarasota, for $249,000. Built in 1986, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,775 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $241,000 in 2004.

PALMER RANCH
Palmer Square West

Harold and Bonita Bannar, of Venice, sold their Unit 8 condominium at 3653 Square West Lane to Charles and Jeanette Worley, of Sarasota, for $362,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,741 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $459,900 in 2006.

Stoneybrook at Palmer Ranch
Richard and Rita Wallace, of Sarasota, sold their home at 9485 Hawksmoor Lane to Harry and Betty Pawlowitz, of Sarasota, for $355,000. Built in 1993, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $228,700 in 1993.

Villagewalk
Sam Guiffrida and Sue Decosta, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5534 Avellino Place to Sandra Sutliff and Edwardine Costello, of Sarasota, for $259,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,706 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $268,000 in 2004.

Angela Birzon, of Heathrow, sold her home at 7652 Andora Drive to Rachelle and Raymond Walsh, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 2004, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,890 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $215,300 in 2004.

Jack and Judith Oropallo, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5785 Tristino Lane to Paul Gaetano and Beth Britvec, of Sarasota, for $213,800. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,678 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,800 in 2005.

Steven and Joan Steinberg, of Sarasota, sold their home at 7169 Del Lago Drive to Carter and Anita Lewis, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1994, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,990 square feet of living area.

Mary Agocs, of Hillsborough, Calif., sold her home at 4169 Entrada Court to Cindy Taliaferro, of Sarasota, for $195,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,563 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,000 in 1997.

Robert and Jean McCue, of Osprey, sold their home at 214 Four Knot Lane to Thomas and Patricia Condit, of Osprey, for $425,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,691 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2003.

NOKOMIS
Calusa Lakes

David Lobdell, trustee, sold the home at 1971 White Feather Lane to Charles and Barbara Kinder, of Nokomis, for $412,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,777 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2004.

Mission Estates
Robert and M. Faye Strang, trustees, sold the home at 2446 Sonoma Drive to Robert Butcher and Allison Smythe, of Nokomis, for $325,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,447 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $535,000 in 2005.

Sorrento East
John and Carmen Grammatica, of Sarasota, sold their home at 147 Da Vinci Drive to Fausto Alba, of Nokomis, for $185,000. Built in 1980, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,030 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2004.
