Sarasota County’s housing market appears to be continuing its comeback.
The Sarasota Association of Realtors reports that October real estate sales were nearly 36% higher than in October 2008.
There were 574 total sales this October compared to 364 total sales last year.
The month’s figures did carry some sobering news, though. The median sale price for homes stood at $151,000, which is down 8% from last month and down 12% from last October.
