It’s a miracle — i.e., a sculpture by Longboat Key artist Ed Miracle.
Last week, you could see the bronze sculpture outside of his Gulf Bay Road home as he prepared to ship it to Dubai, made especially for Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
When the Longboat Observer snapped this photo Wednesday, Oct. 31, Miracle, his son, Daniel Miracle and Tree Beesong had been at work on it for 130 days.
And their work didn’t stop when they shipped it Friday.
In December, Ed Miracle and Beesong will fly to Dubai to meet the still unnamed sculpture when it arrives.
