Steve and Maureen Horn have joined the Longboat Key South office of Michael Saunders & Co.
Maureen Horn, a Philadelphia native who became a Realtor five years ago, is currently ranked among the top 25 agents in the Sarasota market. Prior to joining Michael Saunders & Co., Horn was an associate with Prudential Palms Realty, where she was the top-ranked agent for closed sales in June 2009. She won the Prudential President’s Circle Award during her first two years in the industry and later earned the Chairman’s Gold Award for finishing in the top 3% of Prudential agents nationwide. Horn also won the Quality Service Platinum Award for finishing in the top 2% of 10,000 agents nationwide based on independent surveys of buyers and sellers. She is a member of RISMedia’s “Top 5 in Real Estate Network” and holds the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.
Her husband and business partner, Steve Horn, is a Realtor and candidate for the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation.
The Horns came to the area in 1992 from Cape May, N.J., and owned and operated Maureen’s Palm Grille on Longboat Key from 1998 to 2005.

The Northern Trust Co. and Gordon Holmes, trustees, of Naples sold the home at 3332 Gulfmead Drive to Sam Norton, trustee, of Sarasota, for $3.6 million. Built in 1970, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 3,084 square feet of living area. -

Deborah Cook and Victor Cook Jr., trustees, of Columbus, Ohio, sold the Unit 2E2 condominium at 2377 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Frank and Katherine Martucci, of Ancramdale, N.Y., for $1,987,500. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,169 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,320,000 in 2005.
