Sarasota - Siesta Key sees four $1 million sales

A home in Bay Island Shores tops all real-estate transactions for the week of Aug. 6 to Aug.12. Samuel and Lori Conable, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3535 Flamingo Ave. to Christopher and Dina Kerr, of Sarasota, for $1.68 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 4,838 square feet of living area.
SIESTA KEY
Summer Cove on Siesta
Snavely Siesta Associates LLC sold the Unit 304 condominium at 1660 Summerhouse Lane to Timothy and Denise Ryan, of Toms River, N.J., for $1.23 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,490 square feet of living area.
Mira Mar
Fred and Carolyn Hamblin, of Sarasota, sold their home at 8015 Midnight Pass Road to Eddy and Lisa Block, of Milford, Conn., for $1.17 million. Built in 1936, it has two bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,217 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $630,700 in 2000.
Siestas Bayside Baypoint
Michael and Patricia Schremmer, of Sarasota, sold their home at 714 Siesta Key Circle to Rex and Brooke Burgher, of Sarasota, for $1.1 million. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 4,087 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $175,000 in 1986.
Midnight Cove
David and Wanda Fischer, of Fairfax Station, Va., sold their Unit 443 condominium at 6342 Midnight Pass Road to David, Maurice and Edward Gelia, of Amherst, N.Y., for $800,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,438 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $319,000 in 2001.

Anne Welch, trustee, sold the Unit A condominium at 436 Canal Road to Edward and Kathleen Kellerman, of Orchard Park, N.Y., for $760,000. Built in 2002, it has two bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,756 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $687,000 in 2002.
Harmony
Wachovia Mortgage Corp. sold the home at 4906 Primrose Path to Steven Lovinger, of Sarasota, for $726,000. Built in 1959, it has five bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,120 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $925,000 in 2001.
Island House
Jeanine Pitrone, trustee, sold the Unit 13 condominium at 6150 Midnight Pass Road to 2211105 Ontario Inc. for $495,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,101 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,000 in 1982.

George and Faye Boosalis, of Annandale, Va., sold their Unit 611 condominium at 800 Tamiami Trail to Carl and Barbara Garshelis, of Sarasota, for $352,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $585,000 in 2007.

Scott West, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 14E condominium at 101 Gulfstream Ave. to Harold and Adrienne Rogovin, of Sarasota, for $255,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $485,000 in 2005.
Riverview Manor
Darryl and Marilyn Murch sold their home at 2528 Waterview Court to Rebecca and Rachel Fiore, of Sarasota, for $226,000. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,062 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $153,500 in 1992.
South Pointe Woods
Kenneth and Louise Wainwright, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3309 Plantation Drive to Shani Thimm and Kelley Ferguson, of Sarasota, for $210,000. Built in 1982, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,265 square feet of living area.

Dilip and Lisa Chaparala, of Georgetown, Texas, sold their home at 8930 Huntington Pointe Drive to Carl and Lauren Auckerman, of Sarasota, for $304,000. Built in 1994, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,481 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $223,800 in 1997.
Stacey Solum, personal representative, and Larry Owen, of Sarasota, sold the home at 8864 Huntington Pointe Drive to Anthony and Ann Munson, of Sarasota, for $280,000. Built in 1994, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,291 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $194,000 in 2000.
