Sarasota - White Beach Fruit Co. home sells for $2.1 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 9 and July 13. A home in White Beach Fruit Co. tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Darrel Reece, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 7366 Point of Rocks Road to Arjen De Boer and Jennifer Ponce De Leon, of Eden Prairie, Minn., for $2.1 million. Built in 1979, it has four bedrooms, three baths, two half-baths and 4,165 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.2 million in 2010.
Revised Siesta
Dominique Masson, of Paris, France, sold his home at 3936 Shell Road to Clark Zumwalt, trustee, of Delavan, Ill., for $450,000. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,541 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 1997.
Beach Way Apartments
Francis and Christine Kramer, of Sarasota, sold their Unit E-3 condominium at 5600 Beach Way Drive to Sunita Lodwig, of Osprey, for $430,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,182 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $732,000 in 2005.
Peppertree Bay
Jane Branigan, trustee, of Darien, Conn., sold the Unit 505 condominium at 1125 Peppertree Drive to Richard and Debra Driehaus, of Cincinnati, for $410,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $340,000 in 2001.
Richard and Kathleen Fisher, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 112A condominium at 1163 Peppertree Drive to Andrew Collins and Lucie Bohac, of Ontario, Canada, for $335,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 975 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 2000.
Whispering Sands
Carleton Young Jr., of Portland, Maine, sold his Unit V-10 condominium at 206 Hourglass Way to Jack and Joyce Rentschler, of Sioux Falls, S.D., for $325,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,462 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $118,000 in 1988.
Pointe on Midnight Pass
Carol Christoffel and Linda Ventura, of Lindenhurst, Ill., sold their Unit 601 condominium at 9393 Midnight Pass Road to Russell Meinert, trustee, of Plano, Texas, for $320,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,380 square feet of living area.
Boca Siesta
Michael Lofino and Barbara Gigante, trustees, of Dayton, Ohio, sold the Unit 205 condominium at 5911 Midnight Pass Road to William and Suzanne Curcie, of Miller Place, N.Y., for $290,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,447 square feet of living area.
Jamaica Royale
Eugene and Karen Schunk, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 48 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to David and Patrice Breuer, of Washington, Mich., for $235,000. Built in 1963, it has one bedroom, one bath and 728 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $133,000 in 1998.
