Longboat Key - En Provence condo sells for $2.6 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 2 and July 6. A condominium in En Provence tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Basil Zirinis, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 2 condominium at 2151 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Windward Venture Partners LLC for $2.6 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,800 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $995,600 in 2008.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
Merrill and Sheila Zinder, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit K-605 condominium at 435 L’Ambiance Drive to Charles and Betty Ewing, of Longboat Key, for $2.1 million. Built in 1994, it has two bedrooms, two baths, two half-baths and 2,634 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $735,000 in 1994.

The Water Club II at Longboat Key
Jonathan and Barbara Grimes, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 307 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Takako Richards, of New York City, for $1.45 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,273 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.5 million in 2005.

Marina Bay
Carol Stanley, trustee, of Locust Grove, Va., sold the Unit 312 condominium at 2550 Harbourside Drive to John and Susan Hoskins, of Williamsville, N.Y., for $799,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,830 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $850,000 in 2003.

Country Club Shores
Douglas Pike sold his home at 581 Golf Links Lane to David and Susan Sayers, of Longboat Key, for $756,000. Built in 1969, it has four bedrooms, five baths, a pool and 3,488 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 2001.

Winding Oaks
Thomas and Laurie Baker, of Orchard Park, N.Y., sold their Unit 16 condominium at 3431 Winding Oaks Drive to Merrill and Sheila Zinder, of Longboat Key, for $675,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,679 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $637,000 in 2003.

Dudley Barrow, trustee, of Dorset, Vt., sold the Unit 38 condominium at 3460 Winding Oaks Drive to Steven Zamsky, of Darien, Conn., for $590,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,732 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $569,000 in 2003.

Beachplace
Longboat Investments Limited sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1135 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Myra Monfort, trustee, of Fort Collins, Colo., for $629,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1986.

Robert and Gaye Wood, of Allegheny, Pa., sold their Unit 201 condominium at 1145 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Faye Lang, of Mason, Ohio, for $600,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 1996.

Dream Island
Longboat Leisure Prop LLC sold the home at 672 Dream Island Road to Neal and Jennifer Horne, of Longboat Key, for $620,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths and 1,383 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 1998.

Longbeach on Longboat Key
CSPR Ltd. sold the home at 350 Firehouse Court to William Lacey and Lea Ann Ruhlman, of Longboat Key, for $545,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,650 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $720,000 in 2003.

Islander Club of Longboat
Benjamin Schapiro, trustee, of Lutherville, Md., sold the Unit 81-N condominium at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Bonnie Rosen, of Longboat Key, for $428,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $138,000 in 1979.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
James and Sonja Teasdale, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 68 condominium at 860 Spanish Drive N. to Shane and Pamela Nicholls, of Nantucket, Mass., for $420,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,415 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2008.

Harbour Oaks II
Robert and Maryann Tata sold their home at 2350 Harbour Oaks Drive to Gabriela Orr, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $374,000. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,451 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $625,000 in 2005.

Turtle Crawl
Lois Barson, of Longboat Key, sold her Unit T-402 condominium at 4235 Gulf of Mexico Drive to David and Maureen Winigrad, of Penn Valley, Pa., for $270,000. Built in 1990, it has one bedroom, one bath and 780 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2003.

Sand Cay
The Northern Trust Co. sold the Unit 111 condominium at 4725 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Joyce Tarr, of New Boston, Mich., for $250,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,032 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2011.

Richard and Alice Sheldon, of Troy Mich., sold their Unit 206 condominium at 4725 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mark and Donna Krauss, of Sugar Grove, Ill., for $225,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,071 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,000 in 1978.

L’Elegance on Lido Beach
Edward and Edith Phillips, of Sarasota, sold their Unit B-409 condominium at 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Roderick Murray, of Sarasota, for $1 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,230 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 1996.

Key Towers South
Leslie Follett, trustee, and Ted Maziejka, of Waynesville, N.C., sold the Unit 10F condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Syed Rizvi and Marie Gauthier, of Essexville, Mich., for $670,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $823,300 in 2004.
