Longboat Key - Four-bedroom home on Lido Beach tops sales

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between May 28 and June 1. A home in Lido Beach tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Anthony and Roxanne Marterie, trustees, of San Rafael, Calif., sold the home at 369 S. Polk Drive to Donna Nathan and Andrea Nathan, Sarasota, for $1,235,000. Built in 1958, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,179 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $107,000 in 1979.

The Players Club
Thomas Netzer, trustee, Pittsburgh, sold the Unit 503 condominium at 1425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Denise Barratt, Longboat Key, for $1.09 million. Built in 1983, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,813 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $615,000 in 1990.

Sanctuary II at Longboat Key Club
Ruth Barger, trustee, Sarasota, sold the Unit B-406 condominium at 565 Sanctuary Drive to James and Cathy Alland, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., for $767,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,375 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $415,000 in 1990.

Fairway Bay
Susan Fine, trustee, of Suffolk, Mass., sold the Unit 622 condominium at 2120 Harbourside Drive to Linda Fisher, Pittsburgh, for $590,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,039 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $290,000 in 1989.

Terry Palls, trustee, Longboat Key, sold the Unit 412 condominium at 2020 Harbourside Drive to Dennis Jarosh and Joseph Petri, of Cumming, Ga., for $354,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $385,000 in 2002.

Country Club Shores
Patricia McKee, trustee, of Charles, Md., sold the home at 512 Halyard Lane to Barton and Marsha Hove, of Bristol, Tenn., for $547,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,309 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $87,500 in 1976.

Seaplace
James and Louisa Briggs, of Washington, R.I., sold their Unit M1-408-J condominium at 2045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ronald and Mildred Gamer, of Eden Prairie, Minn., for $535,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,532 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $265,000 in 1994.
Betty and Gayle Johnson, of Louisville, Ky., sold their Unit G4-309-C condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to William Wilson and Molly Wilson, trustees, of Framingham, Mass., for $445,000. Built in 1977, it has one bedroom, two baths and 933 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $447,500 in 2009.
Jerry and Kim Belisle, of Plainfield, Ill., sold their Unit M2-203-G condominium at 1945 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Patrick and Robbin Anderson, of Noblesville, Ind., for $260,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,076 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $169,000 in 1998.

David and Anelisa Murphy, Sarasota, sold their Unit G3-201-E condominium at 2039 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter and Marjorie Matthews, of Newburyport, Mass., for $225,000. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,094 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $106,000 in 1996.

Longboat Key Yacht and Tennis Club
Janet Cooksey, Lucy Tucker and James Caudill, trustees, Longboat Key, sold the Unit 403 condominium at 4215 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Lucius and Clara Clark, of Chesterfield, Ohio, for $420,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,284 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $71,000 in 1978.
Harbour Oaks II

Carolyn Levy, trustee, of Highland Park, Ill., sold the home at 2303 Harbour Oaks Drive to James and Arlene Campbell, of Garden City, N.Y., for $385,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,327 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1997.

Banyan Bay Club
Lynne Dow, of Branford, Conn., sold her Unit 403 condominium at 5260 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert and Idalea Rubin, Sun City Center, for $240,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,128 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $289,700 in 2002.

Bird Key
John and Anita Laurie, Sarasota, sold their home at 653 N. Owl Drive to Kevin North, of Simsbury, Conn., for $1.2 million. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,041 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 1994.

Orchid Beach Club Residences
Elizabeth and Wayne Welter, trustees, of Valparaiso, Ind., sold the Unit A301 condominium at 2050 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Celine O’Connor, of Hong Kong, for $1.15 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,242 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.3 million in 2005.

St. Armands Division of John Ringling Estates
Richard and Eva Wolf, New York, sold their home at 335 Arthur Drive to Lee and Camille Miller, Nokomis, for $484,000. Built in 1951, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,445 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $135,000 in 1988.

Lido Beach Club
Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., trustee, sold the Unit 303 condominium at 1212 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Darren and Lori Magda, Sarasota, for $334,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,421 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $314,000 in 2006.

Sarasota Harbour Apartments
Beverly Dyble, of Cederburg, Wis., Graham Dyble and Kelly Dyble, Panama City, sold their Unit 36 condominium at 765 John Ringling Blvd. to Brian and Carol Barker, of Ontario, Canada, for $255,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 816 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $23,500 in 1970.
