Longboat Key - La Firenza condominium sells for $4.2 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between March 31 and April 4.

A condominium in La Firenza tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Christina and Michael Reeder, of Roswell, Ga., sold their Unit S-301 condominium at 4125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to August Troendle, trustee, of Cincinnati, for $4.2 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 4,810 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4,340,300 in 2007.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
James Sullivan, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit A-301 condominium at 415 L’Ambiance Drive to Caryl Rutledge, trustee, of Ontario, Canada, for $2.4 million. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, three baths, two-half baths and 3,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,347,500 in 1996.

Bay Isles
Charles and Sandra Schneider sold their home at 3171 Bayou Sound to Francis and Patricia McGettigan, of Monroe, Conn., for $1,325,000. Built in 1988, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,384 square feet of living area.

Sleepy Lagoon
Carol Clerkin, of Hiawassee, Ga., sold the home at 592 Juan Anasco Drive to Brigitte Burdick, of Excelsior, Minn., for $749,900. Built in 1974, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,032 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $112,300 in 1978.

Fairway Bay
Robert and Esther Heller, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 301 condominium at 1906 Harbourside Drive to Herbert Sears and Ann Sears, trustees, of Exeter, N.H., for $712,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,097 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $300,000 in 1983.

Sea Gate Club
John and Phyllis Smith, of Anchorage, Ky., sold their Unit 9-B condominium at 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Mary Amorn, of Brentwood, Calif., for $662,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $380,000 in 1999.

Harbour Oaks II
H. Scott and Caryl Rutledge, of Ontario, Canada, sold their home at 2381 Harbour Oaks Drive to Klaus Tenter and Elizabeth Addison, of Ontario, Canada, for $649,000. Built in 1987, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,245 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $305,000 in 1987.

The Beaches of Longboat Key South
William Zink Jr., trustee, sold the Unit 701 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to 701 Beaches of Longboat LLC for $635,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,510 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $590,000 in 2013.

The Players Club
Charles and Elaine Rosen, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 207 condominium at 1485 Gulf of Mexico Drive to 4-IU LLC for $625,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,569 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1989.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Francis and Patricia McGettigan, of Monroe, Conn., sold their Unit 702 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ghassan Souri, of Novi, Mich., for $530,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $435,000 in 2009.

The Privateer South
Gloria Alvarez-Morales, trustee, of Orlando, sold the Unit 403 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to Kyle Thorne, of Longboat Key, for $480,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,409 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $580,000 in 2004.

Corey’s Landing
James Blatt, of Longboat Key, sold his home at 3491 Byron Lane to Albert and Kimberly Lawrence, of Charleston, W.Va., for $470,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,480 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $382,000 in 1997.

Seaplace
Carl Permanian, of Mount Prospect, Ill., sold the Unit G5-102-A condominium at 1965 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Lawrence and Kathi Goldman, of New York, for $397,000. Built in 1977, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,257 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $589,000 in 2005.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Phillip and Judith Fierro, of Littleton, Colo., sold their Unit 132 condominium at 607 Spanish Drive S. to Laurie Beppler, of Longboat Key, for $320,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,399 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $142,000 in 1999.

Longboat Harbour
Edward and Carol Meredith, trustees, of Taylor, Mich., sold the Unit 102 condominium at 4380 Exeter Drive to Ioannis Kalouris, of Canfield, Ohio, for $270,200. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $113,500 in 1992.

BIRD KEY
Jeffrey and Anne Mohl, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 232 Bird Key Drive to Isamibian LLC for $2,637,500. Built in 1963, it has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,052 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.5 million in 2006.

LIDO KEY
L’Elegance on Lido Beach

Charles and Patricia Zaledonis, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit A-903 condominium at 1800 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Beth Murphy, trustee, of Portland, Maine, for $825,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,350 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $560,000 in 2009.

Lido Beach Club
Kenneth and Mary Rice, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 905 condominium at 1212 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Jeffrey Heath, of Sarasota, for $383,600. Built in 1974, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,116 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $247,500 in 2001.
