Mark Reinnoldt, of Key West, sold his Unit 536 at the 90-unit Tangerine Bay Club, 380 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to James and Nancy Curtis, whose mailing address is Unit 525 in Tangerine Bay Club, for $1,695,000. The 2,904-square-foot, three-bedroom, four-bath condominium was built in 1994. Reinnoldt paid $1,575,000 for the unit in April 2007.
The transaction was the largest of the 13 sales recorded at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses for the recording week of March 1 through March 5. Of those sales, 10 took place on Longboat Key, two were consummated on St. Armands Key and one took place on Lido Key. Of the Longboat Key sales, seven were recorded in Sarasota County, while the remaining three took place in Manatee County.
Water Club I
Frances Silverberg, of Bergen, N.J., sold Unit 303 at Water Club I, 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive, for $1,295,000 to Marvin and Betty Morse, of Longboat Key. Built in 1996, the 3,045-square-foot condominium has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The unit last sold for $1.3 million in March 2008.
Damien and Sarupa Lane, of London, paid $1.1 million to Ronald Johnson and his wife, Nancy Fogg-Johnson, for Unit 412A at the 120-unit Promenade, 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive. The condominium has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,273 square feet of living area. The unit last sold for $950,000 in December 2002.
In a second sale at Promenade, limited-liability companies Metcalf Family LLC and My Dog Scooter LLC, both of Edmond, Okla., each purchased a half-interest in Unit 111 from Northern Trust NA, as successor trustee under the Ruth Katzman Trust, of Sarasota, for a total of $800,000. The three-bedroom, three-bath condominium was built in 1985 with 2,273 square feet of living space. It last sold for $485,500 in December 1985.
Marvin Kocian, of Brookfield, Ill., bought Unit 602 at the 66-unit The Pierre, 455 Longboat Club Road, from Sara Anapol, of Sarasota, for $950,000. The 2,410-square-foot unit was built in 1990 and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The unit last sold for $456,400 in March 1992.
Sea Gate Club
John and Rita Kennedy, of Bradenton, sold Unit 9-F at the 90-unit Sea Gate Club, 2425 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Stephen and Mary Tardella, of Riverforest, Ill., for $715,000. The condominium was built in 1973 and has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,513 square feet of living area. The unit last sold for $565,000 in October 2003.
Longboat Harbour Towers
Jeffrey and Pauline Katz, of Oakland, Mich., sold their Unit 901 at the 73-unit Longboat Harbour Towers, 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Judith and George Goldman, of Rockford, Ill., for $450,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath unit was built in 1972 and has 1,574 square feet of living area. The condominium last sold for $273,000 in August 1998.
Spanish Main Yacht Club
John Scholl, of Cumming, Ga., sold his home at 796 S. Spanish Drive in the 212-unit Spanish Main Yacht Club for $269,000 to Streinz Family LLC, of New Hartford, Conn. The two-bedroom, two-bath unit was built in 1967 and has 1,585 square feet of living space. The home last sold for $119,800 in April 1995.
Whitney Beach condominium
John Crimaldi, of Longboat Key, sold his Unit 146 at Whitney Beach condominium, 6750 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Beth Yauman, of Chesterland, Ohio, for $200,000. The one-bedroom, one-bath unit has 990 square feet of living area and was built in 1970. The condo last sold for $125,000 in December 1999.
Neptune on Longboat Key
U.S. Bank National Association, as trustee for Credit Suisse First Boston ARMT, of Boston, sold Unit 12 at Neptune on Longboat Key, which has 12 units and is located at 2850 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to Nikki Koulizakis, of Sarasota, for $148,000. The two-bedroom, one-bath unit was built in 1967 and has 657 square feet of living area.
St. Armands Key
Robert Arra bought the single-family home at 417 S. Washington Drive, St. Armands Key, from Susan Anderson, of Waynesville, N.C., for $745,000. The three-bedroom, two-bedroom home was built in 1949 and has 1,962 square feet of air-conditioned space and a swimming pool. The home last sold for $140,000 in February 1986.
St. Armands Towers North
Brenda Bryan, of Bonita Springs, sold her Apartment 63 at St. Armands Towers North, 1 Ben Franklin Drive, to William and Ann O’Hara, of Berwyn, Pa., for $625,000. The two-bedroom, two-bath condominium has 1,389 square feet of living space and was built in 1968. The unit last sold for $330,000 in 1998.
Lido Harbour South
Unit 202 at Seaview House, Lido Harbour South, 2110 Ben Franklin Drive, Lido Key, sold to Larry and Martha Bedsole, of Chester, Md., for $340,000. The seller was 943890 Ontario Inc., an Ontario, Canada, corporation with a post-office address in Hamilton, Ontario. The unit, built in 1968, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,248 square feet of living area. The home last sold for $115,714 in July 1991.
