+ Cheryl Loeffler closes $3,425,000 AMI sale
Premier Sotheby’s International Realty sales associate Cheryl Loeffler closed the $3,425,000 sale of an Anna Maria Island estate.
The sale price was the highest amount paid for a home on the island since 2008, according to a Premier Sotheby’s statement.
Loeffler represented the seller; Jason Sato, of Sato Real Estate represented the buyer.
The seller was Linda Hohenfeld, of New York City, according to property records, and the buyers were Siyamak and Julie Pakbaz, of Holmes Beach.
The 6,500-square-foot home at 102 Mangrove Ave., Bradenton Beach, was built in 2008 and has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a private, walled-in pool with a separate spa and bar area.
The property also features a separate guest house that was originally built in the 1940s and was recently restored.

Wade and Vicki Collier recently joined Michael Saunders & Co.’s Longboat Key South office.
Wade Collier earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics with an emphasis in real estate from Texas A&M University. He spent seven years as a trust officer/asset manager for Chase Bank, for which he oversaw a variety of properties. He held a broker’s license for 10 years in Texas before becoming licensed in Florida.
Vicki Collier has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern Arkansas University and spent 18 years teaching deaf children. She developed her real-estate career while assisting her husband in his endeavors in Texas and Florida.
The Colliers are Longboat Key residents.
+ Premier Sotheby’s releases top sales team for 2012
The Schemmel Property Group was the top-producing Premier Sotheby’s International Realty sales team in Sarasota and Manatee counties in 2012, with $26.3 million in closed sales.
The team consists of Joel Schemmel, Sharon Chiodi and Tracy Eisnaugle.
“We saw an amazing resurgence of the high-end luxury market that continued to build momentum throughout 2012,” said Schemmel, an attorney and certified public accountant, in a prepared statement. “We expect the Sarasota real-estate market, overall, and the luxury market, in particular, to continue to flourish in 2013.”

Deborah Cook and Victor Cook Jr., trustees, of Columbus, Ohio, sold the Unit 2E2 condominium at 2377 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Frank and Katherine Martucci, of Ancramdale, N.Y., for $1,987,500. Built in 1997, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,169 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,320,000 in 2005.
