From Sarasota to Tuscany An exciting exhibit of pastels and oils painted by Sarasota artist Nancy Goff will be on display from December 6, 2012 through Jan 30, 2013 at The Women's Resource Center, 340 S. Tuttle Ave, Sarasota. 941-366-1700. Whether a statue at Butler Gardens or the dazzling light in a Tuscan alley-way, Goff captures beautiful and peaceful moments in her vibrant oil and pastel paintings. An artist reception and opening will be held Thursday, December 6 from 5pm to 7pm. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
