Monoprinting without a Press with Cheryl Martin Printmaking, All Levels Tuesdays, Feb 19, 2013 β Mar 12, 2013; 1:00pm-4:00pm $110m/$140nm, supply fee: $30; Artist demo: February 16, 2013, 1-4pm free Fully immerse yourself in alternative printmaking processes without the need for a printing press! This class explores a variety of monoprinting techniques for the beginner and advanced printmaker in us all. Students will print leaves, found objects, constructed surfaces, and more utilizing Gelli plates, handprinting, and non-traditional methods. The impressions left behind create an endless variety of prints. Make multiple beautiful art images regardless of your skill level. Students will be encouraged to explore and develop their artistic visions and create one-of-a-kind images. This is non-toxic process that is safe and fun for all ages.
