Taylor Morrison, an Arizona-based developer, yesterday announced plans for a 77-acre community in Gulf Gate to be called the Esplanade by Siesta Key, according to a company news release.
The West Florida division of Taylor Morrison will coordinate the plans for 247 home sites, that will have California Tuscan-style architecture, in a gated community two miles from Siesta Key beach. The developer expects to complete model homes for viewing by early 2013.
The builder already has a 55-acre development on the corner of Jacaranda Boulevard and Venice Avenue with 165 home sites. Five homes are currently for sale in Verona Reserve ranging from $197,410 up to $267,937
