Sarasota Main Street renovations proposed

I walked the whole of Main Street last week. I would be hard pressed to tell the historic from the current - this is all so commercialized.

I know the Kress building is old, but parts of it are very modern looking. Then there is that brick front barroom, the one with neon in the window. Oh, neon is so 50s!
