Commissioners approve temporary banners for special events

Sarasota County Commission Chair Nora Patterson Tuesday joined her fellow commissioners in giving the county zoning staff permission to grant temporary use permits to small businesses wishing to display banners.

WSLR's 4th Annual Beach Bash had four bands play throughout the afternoon and into the early evening with a variety of different styles of music. The Ciceron Brothers were the first to play and got the party started with their rock and reggae music.
