Dr. Isaac and Vivian Kalvaria hosted a night of music, wine, and ooh la la desserts on Saturday, Jan. 26 at their Siesta Key home to raise funds for the Kaplan Preschool at Chabad of Sarasota. Flutist Jane Hoffman and pianists Zara Baroyan and Mike Markaverich played Jewish music such as Hevenu Shalom Alechem, Chabad er Melodie, Three Songs without Words and others.

Riverview High School International Baccalaureate students hosted the Emilia Romagna Run for Relief 5K and 1 mile race Saturday, Jan. 26 on Siesta Key Beach to raise funds for earthquake victims in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.
