Two homes in Siesta Properties sell for $9.99 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Oct. 15 and Oct. 19.

Two homes in Siesta Properties top all transactions in this week’s real estate. Barbara Brunckhorst, of Sarasota, sold two homes at 7960 Sanderling Road and 8000 Sanderling Road to Frank Brunckhorst III, trustee, of Sarasota, for $4,995,000, both totaling $9.99 million. The home at 7960 Sanderling Road was built in 1997, and has three bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,368 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $5,125,000 in 2002. The home at 8000 Sanderling Road was built in 1959 and has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,064 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.19 million.

Fiddler’s Bayou
The Reis Foundation Inc. sold the home at 4200 Shell Road to Donald and Susan Stelfox, of Sarasota, for $3.3 million. Built in 1953, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,937 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.05 million in 2010.

Siesta Beach
Joseph and Becky Andall, of Ontario, Canada, sold their home at 5045 Commonwealth Drive to Dean and Joanna Dubois, of Sarasota, for $630,000. Built in 2006, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,395 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2008.

Peppertree Bay
John and Judith Hunter, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 233B condominium at 6044 W. Peppertree Way to SISCO LLC for $626,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $199,000 in 1991.

Deutsche Bank, trustee, sold the Unit 606AA condominium at 1055 Peppertree Drive to John Marinis, Kayreen Marinis, Pande Nikolovski and Alexandra Nikolovski, of Sarasota, for $265,100. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,163 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,000 in 1979.
The Michael and Peggy Modan Family LLC sold the Unit 401 condominium at 1255 Peppertree Drive to Kevin McCadden, of Tonowanda, N.Y., for $239,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet of living area.

Siesta Isles
Cheryl Bevan, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1008 Glebe Lane to Sara Popovich, of Sarasota, for $440,000. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,557 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $296,000 in 1999.

Excelsior Beach to Bay
Gavin Whitemore, trustee, of Port Washington, N.Y., sold the Unit 202 condominium at 6285 Midnight Pass Road to Parker Family LP for $360,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,469 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $147,500 in 1992.

Sarasota Beach
Kurt and Lynn Butler, of Stuart, sold their home at 5326 Avenida Del Mare to Herve and Sophie Colbach, of Lorraine, France, for $350,000. Built in 1948, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,286 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $126,200 in 1988.

The Bank of New York, trustee, sold the home at 645 Avenida De Mayo to Blue Mountain Homes LLC for $225,500. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,917 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $498,800 in 2011.

Turtle Bay
Stephen Andersen and Susan Steinhurst, of Watertown, Mass., sold their Unit B-402 condominium at 8735 Midnight Pass Road to John and Artika Radek, of Aurora, Ill., for $348,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,357 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1998.

Siesta Dunes Beach
Norman Borgogelli, of Erie, N.Y., sold his Unit 201 condominium at 6202 Midnight Pass Road to James and Carol Theriault, of Ontario, Canada, for $345,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,173 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1988.

Beachaven
Beryl Lloyd sold the Unit 47 condominium at 5858 Midnight Pass Road to Russell Forbes, of Ontario, Canada, for $299,900. Built in 1966, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 813 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $62,500 in 1979.

Bay Tree Club
Federal National Mortgage Association sold the Unit 201 condominium at 8635 Midnight Pass Road to Richard and Deborah Torchia, of Sarasota, for $291,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $370,600 in July.

Paradise Cove
Donna Miley, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 205 condominium at 6600 Peacock Road to Lori Fox, of Sarasota, for $245,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,196 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $89,900 in 1992.

Sandy Cove
Richard Baxter Jr., Rebecca Clark and Suzanne McAuliffe sold their Unit 207 condominium at 207 Pass Key Road to Richard and Margaret Good, of Sarasota, for $235,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 998 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $45,000 in 1977.
