Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Matt Binkley worked his first high school football game in his new position as a school liaison officer Friday, Aug. 31, when Sarasota High School hosted Booker High School. Siesta Key residents and business owners may recognize Binkley from his nearly eight nears of service on the island, which ended earlier this year when he was transferred.
