After Tropical Storm Debby, a guest at Tropical Beach Resorts found a message in a bottle washed up on the beach. Dawn Bear, general manager of Tropical Beach Resorts, said the message had been buried in the sand by Robert (Butch) Deskin on behalf of Robert Benjamin Deskin (Ben), his son, and Dondi Gardner at 2:30 Jan. 29, on their wedding day.

The note thanked God for his unconditional love and his loving kindness. Bear said that after reading the message and finding the contact information, she let the Ohio-based family know the bottle had been found.
