- Here is the answer: band volume is kept at the lower end. The louder the music is played, the louder people will be. If they want to hear the music, they need to be quieter.
Doesn't anyone recall that blasting the eardrums was something big-time rock musicians protested themselves? And, louder is not better. Indeed, it kills the music. Turn down the volume.

- After vacationing in Siesta Key for years we recently purchased a residence in the village. We were shocked at how loud the music has been, especially on weekends. It seemed as if each bar was trying to drown out the others, even thought they are just about on top of each other.
I hope the article is correct that the noise has subsided, however the holiday season is here and the students will descend upon us. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling I will get to know all of the deputies by name before long.
