The Second Annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic wrapped up on Sunday, Nov. 13, but the sand sculptures were left out all of Monday.
This morning however, the sculptures were demolished.
"By noon-time Tuesday, it will look like nothing ever happened on the Beach," Bob Parkinson, co-chair of the Siesta Key Crystal Classic said. "When people see that, and see the first bulldozer hit the first statue, the general reaction is, 'Ohhhh ... '"
Did you miss your chance to see the sculptures last weekend? Watch the video slideshow below to view some of the sculptures featured in the event.

- The November 15 story about the Siesta Key Crystal Classic Sand sculpture says "Video Slideshow" and "more photos", but I can find ony one photo. Are there others elsewhere? The Youtube video doesn't show much either.
