The closure scheduled for Siesta Key Beach Access 5 was delayed until tomorrow, Sept. 11, due to the inclement weather this morning, according to a news release from Sarasota County.

Sarasota County Parks and Recreation Program Manager Jonathan Poyner said there would be a crane performing roof construction on the Terrace Condominium complex, which will require the 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. closure. He encouraged beachgoers to use the parking at Beach Access 7 while the other north Siesta beach access is closed.
