- Their story is so cool! My husband (Mike) has loved and played games his whole life. He has even invented quite a few. He even contacted one or more companies many years ago to try and submit/sell one or more to them, but the companies said they do not take "outside ideas" from non-employees. We have been to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair 8 out of the past 10 years in Chicago and talked to a lot of the game inventers/owners. We were told that just about every game idea you could think of or an improvement on any game has already been put out there. His dream job would have been to work for a game company or manufacturer and shoot them his ideas, hoping to get a few successful games that everyone will love to play.
Would those 2 guys or anyone else out there have any suggestions to how he/we could present one or more of his games to someone to try and "get it out there"? Are any game companies hiring creative people to work for them?
He has a lot of really good ideas, but recently came up with a really good one recently (and has another one in the works) that he believes isn't already out there and is good enough to become something great.
If anyone has any suggestions or options to talk to us or "option" something from us, please let us know.
