The Hollywood Nights Student Cinema Showcase featured the filmmakers of tomorrow April 15, at Regal Hollywood 20, in a premiere of 11 films written and produced by area teenagers.

A jury of New-York-based film industry professionals screened numerous films created by more than 5,000 students. Prior to the Sunday screenings, the producers of the winning films got to walk the red carpet. The film genres ranged from horror to comedy and covered topics from anti-bullying to graduation. It was the first sold-out youthFEST showcase in four years.
