The Sarasota Scullers secured a win at the 2011 Head of Indian Creek Regatta, Oct. 23, in Miami. The rowers took home three gold, one silver and four bronze medals from the 2.7-mile race.
In the elite 8s, considered the most prestigious and competitive competition, Conor Davenport, Joseph Pantera, Dan Stegenga, Sam Bretz, Sean Mihm, Calvin Bilder, Tommy Scarpinato and Tommy Kelly (with Emily Deming as coxswain) took the gold in the Men’s Junior 8 Final.
