Sarasota resident and Lafayette College junior Wesley von Dassow is logging extracurricular hours this summer at his internship at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
A geology major, von Dassow is contributing to the studies of the museum’s Center for Earth and Planetary Studies division, for which he’s been digging up fossils in Montana and examining the plate boundaries of the moon.
