Cadet Adam Davidson DeMarco, above, graduated Saturday, May 23, from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The son of Frank DeMarco, of Venice, and Pamela Holmes, of Sarasota, DeMarco studied management and is the recipient of the varsity Army “A” for football seasons 2007 to 2008. He was also commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Field Artillery branch and will begin a career in the Third Brigade Combat Team in Fort Hood, Texas.
Also, Sarasota resident Sharon Suzanne Clabby graduated from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in spring 2009 with a master’s degree in education and a concentration in middle-secondary instruction.
