The Sarasota Crew’s Men’s Varsity 8+ recorded a winning season. The group of eight won every race they rowed and recently placed second in the nation at the 2012 U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships, held June 8 to June 10, in Oak Ridge, Tenn. More than 1,500 athletes from high school and junior-rowing programs across the country competed for national titles in 18 boat classes.
