The Animal Rescue Coalition announced its second Feline Flair adoption extravaganza, scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium.
Hosted and sponsored by ARC, 200 cats will be up for adoption from 14 area shelters. The day includes a show ring, with professional show judge Gwen Hornug. Master of ceremonies will be Elliott Metcalfe, and the king and queen of stray cats will be crowned.
Authors of “A Cat’s Tale — One Cat’s Search for the Meaning of Life,” “Tales of American Bronte” and “Hemingway’s Cats” will be present for book signings.
