Construction begins for Payne Park Playground
Date: May 1, 2012

Work began on Monday, April 30, on the anticipated Payne Park Playground. Chris Hutchinson, the foreman from Gator Grading and Pavement, said that there is still plenty of work to be done including creating the handicap ramp and putting in all the flat work and concrete.
The playground will have Rainbow Turf, which is created out of recycled materials, designed to cushion any falls. The colorful, circus-themed playground pieces are on site and wrapped up in plastic and will be put in piece by piece over the next few months.
