Members of the Sarasota British Club held a Jumble/Rummage Sale at the Sarasota Center of Light Church to help raise money for the charity Hope in a Backpack. The charity provides food and aid to disadvantaged children throughout Sarasota to help in this difficult economic climate.
The club was inspired to raise money after viewing a segment on “60 Minutes,” titled “The Hungry Children of Sarasota.” The Jumble/Rummage Sale brought in more than $1200, all of which was given to Hope in a Backpack.
