The Knights of the Eagle chapter of the International Widows Sons Masonic Riders motorcycle group recently raised $7,500 for the Southeastern Guide Dogs’ Paws for Patriots program by selling raffle tickets for a customized golf cart.
“This generous gift will help us to continue our mission of providing world-class guide dogs and service dogs for those who can benefit from them,” said Andy Kramer, director of development for Southeastern Guide Dogs. “It costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $60,000 to create and support a guide dog team, so donations like this allow us to continue to provide our services free of charge.”
