Gov. Rick Scott presented Sarasota resident Korinne Kaliher with the fourth annual Idelio Valdes Leadership Award, March 7, during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day, in Tallahassee, for promoting disability awareness throughout the community. The Idelio Valdes Leadership Award is one of the most prestigious awards that recognizes those who spread awareness about the value of inclusion and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
