Of all the ostentatious items that make their rounds at antique shows, this Louis Vuitton toilet seat takes the cake — and disposes of it, too. The wooden seat, recovered with original LV leather, was a standout Jan. 28, at the Bertha Palmer Centennial Antiques Show preview party.
Centered in a room of everything Louis — suitcases, hatboxes, doll-sized chairs and footstools — the tricked-out throne was pretty hard to miss.
