+ Yellow Strawberry to hold Haiti benefit
Hairstylists at Yellow Strawberry hair salon are donating their time starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at 2345 Bee Ridge Road, for free haircuts in exchange for a donation to the Restoration Haiti charity fund. The salon will take walk-ins only, but will be fully staffed with more than 20 stylists; 100% of the proceeds are being donated.
Haircuts are provided at no charge with a requested donation to the Haiti relief fund for whatever donation the customer feels is appropriate or is able to make. Tax-deductible receipts will be provided.
